Absolutely stunning example of an official Royal Mint issue sterling silver William IV & Adelaide coronation medal, 33mm diameter. Comes with original circular red fitted case, fully lined and with blue tag to remove the medal. The hinge and clasp are still in perfect condition. Both the top and the base of the case are slightly rubbed as can be seen from the photo.
The medal is toned but otherwise "As Struck", FDC. I can find no reference to an original cased silver example anywhere and no images of a silver medal in such superb condition. Priced accordingly but please feel free to contact me with genuine offers. Please wait for an invoice before paying due to the wide variation of postal rates available.
