14K Gold Masonic Newport Royal Arch Chap 2 Presentation Medal Jewel 11.7gr 1912. Offered today is a collectible solid 14k gold presentation Masonic Jewel or Medal from the Newport Royal Arch Chapter 2.
The jewel was presented to Charles E Bardsley and inscribed and dated Feb 129, 1912. He was indeed a lifetime member of this masonic Royal Arch Chapter, as I found in a little history online (always fun to research--see the photo of the 1918 roster and his name as a member in 1906). This is beautifully detailed, with scrolling, hand-hammering of the gold at the top, embellishments of black and red enamel, and the inscription on the back of the triangle. It's a nice heavy collectible piece, at 11.7 grams.
It has been fully tested in 3 places and is strongly positive for solid 14k gold. It is in excellent antique condition. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE ITEMS I SELL ARE "VINTAGE" OR ESTATE ITEMS, AND THEREFORE ARE NOT NEW--SO PLEASE EXPECT NORMAL WEAR. I WILL DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE ANY DEFECTS/FLAWS IN THE ITEM. PLEASE VIEW THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AS THE SUPERSIZED PHOTOS ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE LISTING.
