Estate Find Royal Arch Masonic Medal Cyrus Chapter 288 AL 5846. We offer a gold Masonic medal with the original presentation case and dated A. The medal features the interlocking triangle flanked by ribbon over a round medallion with the Royal Arch symbols of a five pointed crown superimposed on the triangle. The triple Tau flanked again by ribbon is attached below the medallion. Below the Royal Arch emblem is an under layer of Guilloche work with enamel in a maroon coloration.

The medallion is suspended by a maroon faille ribbon with three gold bars and a stick pin on the reverse. The reverse of the medal is inscribed with.

There are no hallmarks on the metal. There is some deterioration to the fabric lining where the stick pin has pierced the fabric. The gold content of the medal was professionally test by a jeweler. The metal ribbon above and below the round medallion is 22 Kt.

The Star of David and the triple Tau symbol are 18 Kt. The round medallion with its emblems is 18 Kt.

On the reverse the engraved backing to the medallion is 10 Kt. The bars on the ribbon are gold plated. The stickpin is a base metal. The jeweler made note that the Star of David was hand cut with visible saw marks seen under a loop.
