1908 ROYAL AUTOMOBILE & ASSOCIATED CLUBS 77mm MEDAL CASED
Obverse with semi-draped female anointing the male personification of Skill and female Invention, reverse with oak and olive wreath, legend around. Toned Extremely Fine and housed in John Pinches fitted case of issue (clasp not working). Von Herkomer's Motoring of 1906, together with this medal he executed for the Royal Automobile and Associated Clubs, are believed to be his only two medallic works.
