1908 Royal Support Of Zeppelin Cause Medal Unc. S-977-a

From my airship collection I offer this original 1908 medal commemorating the visit of Prince Heinrich of Prussia who visited the Zeppelin Works in Friedrichshafen in support of the Zeppelin program. He is shown on the obverse of the medal with exact date of his visit 27 Oct. 1908 which reportedly included a ride on a zeppelin. The reverse has the familiar profile of Count Zeppelin. A quite elusive medal not seen often.

Listed by Kaiser as his 307.1. It will cost me more.
