1932 Manchukuo National Foundation Merit Medal Imperial Black Lacquer Bronze
Issued in China's northeastern territory of Manchuria A. A Manchukuo, under the Japanese empire's'Co-prosperity Sphere'. Black-lacquered bronze, inscribed in silvered characters , National Foundation within a wreath of sorghum stalks with silvered heads. Just as the cherry blossom is used as a symbol of Japan, sorghum was used as a symbol of the Manchukuo puppet imperial household.
