1969 Investiture of Charles Prince Of Wales 0.999 Fine Silver Medals

Two rare matched medals commemorating the Investiture of Charles, Prince Of Wales at Caernarvon Castle on July 1, 1969. They are housed in a custom lucite case. The medals are 34mm and 50mm.

They were uniquely struck in 999.9 silver and weigh over 2oz total. The proof finish with deep cameo portraits of Elizabeth II and Charles have been in my possession since minted. These medals represent a significant event in the life of Prince Charles (future King Charles III).
