Beautiful black ribbed matte silk Kiton tie with floral medallions & vines has been handmade using the''seven fold'' technique, drawing upon an ancient tradition of Neapolitan tie-makers. This technique takes its name from the way the tie is constructed: it is made from a single panel of silk that is folded diagonally seven times, from the sides inwards, without any cuts or linings being added, and all steps are carried out by hand. The background is black with a rich, floral medallion & vine design in tan, copper, and tobacco.
