Chinese Saucer IMPERIAL YELLOW Birthday Porcelain Qing Guangxu Period 19th C. Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period "birthday" or "eternal spring" bowl, decorated in famille rose enamels and gilt highlights with four medallions, each containing an iron-red and gilt seal-script character (wan shou wu jiang), symbolizing boundless longevity, set against a yellow ground densely covered in polychrome ribbons, pearls, clouds, and Buddhist swastikas.

Foaming waves encircle the high recessed foot. A leiwen (cloud and thunder) band extending around the outer edge ends in a fine gilt line at the rim. A central circular shou (long life) medallion surrounded by four sea-green waves is in the interior well. FAIR - (5CM) x cracked & restored on the border, with some chipping on the edges, light scratches and wear. Please review the photos carefully for more details.
