Georgian Brass Medallion Boxed Chronology of the Sovereigns of England 1814

Georgian Brass Medallion Boxed Chronology of the Sovereigns of England 1814. This is a rare George III brass medal box containing a portrait disc chronology of the Sovereigns of England from William I to George III. There are 16 double sided cards & two cover cards, the top one embossed with the bust of George III. The dates cover the Royal succession of all the monarchs from 1087 - the birth of George III in 1738.

CONDITION some of the cards are hand sewn together, I believe they were originally all joined originally in a long line, wear to the brass box - as per images. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners. Items are packed defensively & extreme care is taken to ensure you receive goods in perfect condition.
