Offered for sale is an original Imperial Russian St. George Medal for Bravery, period example from the late Imperial / WWI era.

This medal is mounted in a cross-suspension format and retains its original black and orange St. George ribbon, which shows appropriate age and wear consistent with the medal itself. The ribbon is period correct, not a modern replacement or Victory Day reproduction. (Stepen / Degree) marking, correctly indicating class, along with the Imperial cipher in the central medallion. Construction is non-magnetic, consistent with period non-ferrous (gilt bronze/brass) manufacture commonly seen on authentic St.
