Distinguished Ottoman Empire (Turkish) Order of Medjidie (Mecidiye) breast badge, crafted in silver and gold exhibiting exquisite craftsmanship. The obverse features the royal cipher of Sultan Abdülmecid I, elegantly set within a gold-bordered circle of red enamel, inscribed with an Arabic inscription. Surrounding the central medallion is a seven-pointed star composed of triple quills, with small crescents and five-pointed stars adorning the spaces between the arms.

Total weight is 28.1 grams. Comes with nice, vintage leather box. Very nice condition with little wear and consistent with age.
