Medal is dated to 1905 with marks for 9 Kt. Gold (9.375), a date letter f for 1905, an anchor for Birmingham with a maker's mark of J.

Who I believe may be John Findley, a goldsmith from Birmingham. The chain is marked 1/20, meaning gold fill.

I do not see any bare spots or wear on the chain. 2 of an ounce X. A nice addition to your Black Watch or trophy medal collection. Must be back in my hands 10 days from your receipt of the item.
