Royal Order of Vasa-Antique-Swedish Chivalry Medal-18k Gold-@1900

Authentic 18K gold medal with original box from C F Carlman in Stockholm. Beautiful two-sided gold medal with enameling done by famous enameler of the era. It was suppose to be the 1st degree knight medal per research. Originally given by King Oscar, who was king of Sweden and Norway. The awards were given starting in 1895 and ending in the 1970's, awarded for general civil virtues. (Chivalry) This medal is suppose to be from the early 1900's.

(There are two sizes of this medal, one is tiny, but this is the larger one) Also, there have been reproductions produced over the years, but this is the actual original medal that was awarded. Both sides of medal have the same fine detailing with a swivel top and multiple crowns, etc. Would be great for the historical collector and also for someone who appreciates fine detailed gold and enameling.
