Royal Worcester England Blue Medallion Footed Tea Pot Teapot & Lid

Offering this footed teapot produced by Royal Worcester in the Blue Medallion pattern. Blue Medallion was introduced in 1958 and discontinued in 1965. Both the lid and the pot are decorated with gray medallions that are embellished with raised turquoise beads. Both are trimmed with gold on their extremities.

There is a back stamp on the underside of the lid as well as the base. The teapot stands 6 1/4 inches tall to the top of the finial, 8 3/4 inches from spout to handle, and holds 3 1/2 cups. Both the lid and the pot are in excellent pristine condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing and no loss of the gilding.
