This is a GUARANTEED ORIGINAL award issued in the Russian Empire in the early years of the XX C. And now well over 100 years old - NOT a replica! The medallion is in copper ("dark bronze"); measures 28.1 mm wide; weighs 12.6 g not including the suspension. This version of the medal was struck by the State Mint in St.
Features a dot at the end of the motto "May God Resurrect You When Time Comes". Medal is in fine condition.
There is moderate wear from cleaning on both sides, especially the obverse, but most of the raised details are still relatively well-defined. Minor amount of surface pitting and uniform patina to the brass throughout, no blemishes. The medallion is free of edge knocks or nicks. The medal comes on a relatively recent St. Alexander Nevsky ribbon showing some age and mounted on a Soviet-era suspension device.
