MEDAL FOR CHINA WAR 1900 - 1901. The Medal "For the Campaign in China" is a medal of the Russian Empire for awarding military personnel who participated in the suppression of the Boxer Rebellion in China (also known as the Boxer Rebellion), as well as for awarding medical personnel, officials and priests in service, officials of the security service of the CER and SMR, and volunteers. It was established on May 6, 1901 by decree [3] of Emperor Nicholas II. The decree was given to the Minister of War A. The medal had two main versions, made of different metals: silver or bronze.
