Scarce cased Royal Naval Reserve Forces Decoration Medal, awarded in 1959 with 1978 dated second award bar. EIIR medal in excellent condition, engraved dated 1959 to reverse, retaining. 1978 dated second award bar.

Unmounted and comes in its Royal Mint leatherette case of issue. The Decoration for Officers of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve could be awarded to part-time commissioned officers in the United Kingdom's Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve after twenty years of service as efficient and thoroughly capable officers.
