Sovereign Colonial Society Americans of Royal Descent Medal Historical Society

This is the insignia of the Sovereign Colonial Society Americans of Royal Descent®. The official colors of the society are blue, red, and white, as seen on the ribbon. The insignia consists of a formal emblem with an outspread royal mantle (ermine-lined), surmounted by a crown. It surrounds a shield displaying a lion rampant gules (red lion on a red shield), which is pendant from the society's ribbon.

Membership eligibility is based upon royal descent from ruling houses of Europe and the British Isles.
