As indicated by the inscribed slice, this is a Publisher's Copy (EE) for the French club of the medal, out of 500 copies struck. The actual edition reserved for the artists, as a gift from the director, to the medalist of the Musée de la Monnaie and to the legal deposit of the Cabinet des Médailles of the BNF was located between 8 and 12 copies per subject at the sole discretion of the head of the establishment. Description of the anverso: Louis XVI standing on the left, offering to the City of Paris, inclined and leaning on his shield, a group of cows, one of which is taken away by a plowman.
