Issued to serving service men of the Royal Marines and Royal Navy for their role in the Baltic Theatre of the Crimean War. Instituted April 1856 for award to those that served with the Naval deployment to the Baltic during the Crimean war.
Wyon RA" (Obverse) is on the bust truncation, and "L. Wyon (reverse) is within the exergue. This medal is unnamed and has been made into a pin brooch to hang on a uniform.
