WW2 casualty medal group attributed to Lieutenant Jack Garner Jones 42 Royal Marines commando. Jack was killed in action on the 31st January 1945 age 22 in the battle for Hill 170. Medals are unnamed as issued 1945 star, Burma star, defence medal and war medal with mention in dispatches in good condition. The group comes with a decorative Memorial roll from the Methodist church Napier street Hazel grove by John Buchanan 1946.
