Offered is a 1939 45 Star, Atlantic Star, War Medal (1939 45), Naval General Service Medal (1915 62), with clasp MINESWEEPING 1945 51. M is impressed named C/JX. Swing mounted as worn however missing the pin to the medal bar. Approximately 4,800 clasps were awarded.
Reuben Arscott Trevail was born in 1918 in Devon and died January 1961 at Suffolk. C/JX suffix = C Chatham. JX = Seamen and Communications who would have enlisted under the standard 12 years plus optional 10 years to qualify for pension. Check out my other items. We list militaria and coins weekly.
