Item: Fine Original MBE Sterling Silver Medal & Presentation Case Royal Mint Second Type example. A wonderful opportunity to obtain an Original Full Size Military MBE Full Medal with Original Presentation Case intact, made by Royal Mint London. The medal is still in superb finishing as you can see from the photos, with original silk water fleck ribbon with two strips either side and pin back attachment, which is stamped Sterling. To the top front of medal, we see the Kings Crown prominent and present, conjoined Side facing cameo of King and Queen. The presentation case in which the medal is housed is of a black leatherette finishing, block letters in gold MBE.

Press to release catch which is in perfect working order. To the inside a cream velvet base with a silk padded liner to the roof with the full Royal Mint stamp. Medal has age toning and never been cleaned. All in all, a really nice example of a totally original WWII MBE. Size of medal EXCLUDING ribbon and suspension ring.

Condition: The medal is in great condition. Light surface marks consistent with age and genuine wear, please view photos to judge for yourself.
